Ped or Board Eligible to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and fitting orthotic devices for patients who require limb support. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. The Orthotist will utilize their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide exceptional service and support throughout the patient journey. Responsibilities Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations. Design and fabricate custom orthotic devices tailored to individual patient requirements. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop effective treatment plans. Educate patients on the use and care of their orthotic devices, ensuring they understand proper maintenance and adjustments. Monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to orthotic devices as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and outcomes. Stay current with advancements in orthotic technology and best practices in the field. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to orthotics Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care and orthotic design. Ability to perform physical examinations effectively as part of the assessment process. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and communication. Demonstrated ability to apply aseptic techniques in clinical settings. Salary for C. ped ranges from $50,000 - $65,000 Join our team of compassionate professionals dedicated to improving the lives of our patients through innovative orthotic solutions! This position requires 60% travel to outreach clinics. Company vehicle is provided.
