Job Description

Bay Orthopedic is seeking a credentialed Orthotist/Prosthetist to join our team. This role includes supporting the process of obtaining hospital privileges/rights, so the ideal candidate is comfortable working within hospital systems and credentialing requirements. About Us Our practice has been serving Long Island for over 50 years and we are continuing to expand our practice. We provide prefabricated and custom orthotics, prosthetics and scoliosis bracing. We also service several of the hospitals on Long Island. Responsibilities Evaluate, design, fabricate, and fit custom and prefabricated orthotic devices for patients Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, PTs, and other providers Obtain and maintain hospital privileges/rights at affiliated facilities, completing required credentialing paperwork and hospital-specific onboarding Provide inpatient and/or outpatient orthotic services as needed at partner hospital(s) Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and practice standards Educate patients and caregivers on device use, care, and maintenance Stay current with orthotic technology, materials, and best practices Qualifications Certified Orthotist (CO) or Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist (CPO) through ABC or BOC Eligible for hospital credentialing (clean background check, up-to-date immunizations/healthclearances) Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across clinical teams Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply What We Offer Competitive salary Support through the hospital credentialing process

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
