•Sign On Bonus of up to $20,000 is available• Job Summary Responsible to manage the comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under the direction of a physician's prescription. This includes patient assessment, formulation and implementation of a treatment plan, as well as follow-up and practice management. The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis. Will assist in overseeing central fabrication projects and oversee fabrication activities. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Qualifications Must have completed the schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner. Must have ten years of combined experience, education and training in orthotics and prosthetics under the supervision of a privileged orthotist and prosthetist with a minimum of four years in each discipline. Experience in leadership is preferred. Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required; if not at time of hire, must have certification within 3 years of hire.
