Job Description
Wakulla County Fire Rescue has immediate need of full-time and flex/part-time Paramedics. This position works under the supervision of the on-duty Captain to provide rescue services including emergency response, advanced pre-hospital life support, patient care, and transport. Duties include the operation and maintenance of rescue apparatus and medical equipment. Qualified applicants will possess and maintain the following training, certifications, and abilities:
- High School diploma or acceptable equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- State of Florida Paramedic Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider certification
- Certificate of completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
- Certificates of completion of
FEMA IS-00100, IS-00200, IS-00700, IS-00800
Courses- Ability to pass FBI Background Check
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
