In this vital role, you will provide advanced medical treatment and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Your expertise will make a real difference in urgent situations, demonstrating your commitment and delivering compassionate care under pressure. This position is for our Delray Beach and Lake Worth Beach locations. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and conducting physical examinations to inform treatment plans. Triage patients. Administer IV fluids. Perform EKG. Assist the providers with procedures. Maintain clear documentation of patient care activities, incident reports, and transport details following established protocols. Stay current with medical terminology, trauma medicine procedures, neonatal resuscitation protocols, and cardiovascular emergency response techniques. Ensure aseptic technique during procedures like injections or invasive assessments to prevent infection risks. Qualifications Valid certification as a Paramedic with current licensure in the applicable jurisdiction. Prior experience in critical care environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, trauma medicine, and pediatric emergency care practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, team members, and other healthcare providers.
