• Job Description:

• + Administers prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

+ Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments accurately and timely. + Educates patients and family members about illnesses and clinical interventions. + Adheres to department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures patient documentation is accurate and complete. + Cleans and stocks respiratory equipment regularly.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• + Must possess good verbal and written communications skills.

[Required] + Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently [Required] + Knowledge of outpatient hospital services. [Required] + Ability to work closely with physicians. [Required] + Ability to demonstrate knowledge, training and experience in hyperbaric chamber maintenance and minor repair [Preferred] + Operational knowledge of NFPA99, gas handling, Hyperbaric Safety Codes, PVHOI and 2 CGA and other safety related Guidelines. [Preferred]

• Education:

• + High School Grad or Equiv [Required] + Vocational/Technical School [Preferred]

• Field of Study:

• + Completion of a 40 hour Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) or National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Technology (NBDHMT) approved Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory Course Required

• Work Experience:

• + 1+ year of clinical hyperbaric experience [Preferred]
