Job Description

Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCT Medic)
Pay:
$33.00-$38.00 per hour Metro EMS Ambulance Services is seeking experienced and dependable Critical Care Transport Paramedics. This position includes CCT assignments and regular ALS or BLS ambulance duties based on operational needs. Responsibilities Provide critical-care, ALS, and BLS interfacility transportation Respond to CCT, ALS, and BLS assignments as scheduled by dispatch Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, capnography, and oxygen therapy Assess and continuously monitor critically ill and medically complex patients Provide care within the appropriate BLS, ALS, or CCT level Administer medications according to company protocols and medical direction Assist EMT partners with routine transports, patient movement, and ambulance operations Communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, dispatchers, patients, and receiving facilities Complete accurate electronic patient-care reports Inspect, clean, restock, and maintain the ambulance, medications, and medical equipment Follow company policies, medical protocols, HIPAA requirements, and Florida EMS regulations Minimum Qualifications Current Florida Paramedic certification Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Minimum two years of ALS paramedic experience preferred Critical-care or interfacility transport experience preferred Experience with ventilators and infusion pumps Willingness to perform regular ALS and BLS duties when CCT calls are unavailable or operationally necessary Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and driving-record review Ability to safely lift and move patients and equipment FP-C, CCP-C, or an approved Critical Care Paramedic certification is strongly preferred. Position Details Full-time and part-time positions available 12-hour, 13-hour, and 24-hour shifts Pay range: $33.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and critical-care certification CCT medics must accept regular ALS and BLS assignments as part of their scheduled duties Night, weekend, and holiday availability may be required Service area: Polk and Osceola counties, Florida Metro EMS Ambulance Services is an equal-opportunity employer.
