Labette Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Paramedic to join our Regional Transport Service (RTS) team based in Neodesha, Kansas. This position provides advanced emergency medical care, responds to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, safely transports patients, and serves as the lead medical provider on the ambulance. At Labette Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our employees in a professional, team-oriented environment. Schedule 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Rotating schedule: 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next Responsibilities Respond to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls. Assess, treat, and transport patients using established EMS protocols. Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in accordance with state and local guidelines. Serve as the lead medical provider on the ambulance and direct patient care activities. Complete accurate and timely patient care documentation. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of ambulances, equipment, and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and response-ready work environment. Participate in continuing education, department training, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with hospitals, first responders, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Qualifications Current Kansas Paramedic certification. Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Previous EMS experience preferred but not required. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
