Job Description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Paramedic to join the Ambulance Services Department!
Description:
The selected candidate will work as a member of the Emergency Department clinical team. Responsibilities include the transportation and care of patients during transport to tertiary care facilities, as well as convalescent transport to facilities or home. The paramedic will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide appropriate age specific care in compliance with standards of practice in the hospital setting, when not transporting patients. Skill set approved by NC-OEMS and hospital policies will be utilized.
Requirements:
Completion of OEMS approved training & competency program for Paramedic and current North Carolina Paramedic Certification required. Six months experience in a pre-hospital environment as a Paramedic required. Certification in
BCLS, ACLS, PALS.
required North Carolina Emergency Vehicle Driver certification or comparable. Current Class C driver's license. Current three (3) year driving history absent of violations.
Hours:
This is a full-time position. Hours for Ambulance Services are 10:00am - 8:00pm. Other hours may be required for the effective operation of the department.
