Duties:

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in need
• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
• Administer basic life support measures, including CPR and defibrillation
• Monitor vital signs and document patient information
• Assist with airway management and ensure proper oxygenation
• Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection
• Safely lift and transport patients using proper lifting techniques
• Operate and maintain medical equipment, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Drive an ambulance or emergency vehicle to transport patients to the ER or other medical facilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State of Ohio Paramedic certification
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Proficient in airway management techniques
• Ability to lift heavy objects and physically assist patients as needed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Familiarity with basic life support protocols and procedures
• Experience working in an emergency room or similar setting is preferred
