Job Overview Join our dynamic emergency medical services team as a Paramedic, where your expertise will be vital in delivering life-saving care to those in urgent need. Utilize the latest equipment with Lifepak 35s, Saphire IV pumps, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, Stryker power cots, and McGrath video scopes. In this energetic and fast-paced role, you will provide advanced pre-hospital medical treatment, assess patient conditions swiftly, and transport individuals safely to healthcare facilities. Your dedication and critical thinking will make a real difference in emergency situations, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care from the scene to the hospital. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse rural environment all while advancing your skills as a paramedic. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls and arrive equipped with the necessary tools for immediate patient assessment and intervention Perform thorough physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses Administer medications via injection and manage airway obstructions using advanced airway management techniques Conduct patient assessments including physiology evaluation, medical history collection, and trauma triage. Execute critical care transports, ensuring continuous monitoring and stabilization during transit to hospitals or specialized facilities Apply aseptic techniques during procedures such as venipuncture and medication administration to prevent infection Operate emergency medical equipment (DME) effectively while adhering to safety protocols and medical terminology standards Collaborate with hospital staff during handoffs, providing detailed reports on patient condition and treatment administered Engage in ongoing training related to emergency medicine, anatomy knowledge, heavy lifting safety, and driving skills for rapid response vehicles This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible impact through critical patient care.
