Company Overview ChildFirst Services Inc. is dedicated to providing compassionate care through small group residences, supervised independent living, and treatment foster care for children referred by Pennsylvania County Offices of Children, Youth. Our mission is to support children during transitional periods while their family circumstances are stabilized or alternative placements are arranged. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Emergency Operations Professional (EOP) to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate emergency medical responses, ensure optimal patient care, and support clinical operations across various healthcare settings. Your expertise will help us deliver timely, effective care for children with complex medical needs, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Responsibilities Respond promptly to medical emergencies within our facilities, providing critical support and coordination. Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and performing comprehensive patient assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and post-acute care arrangements. Maintain accurate medical records, manage documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Support inpatient and outpatient clinical services across hospital medicine, emergency room, pediatric intensive care (PICU), and behavioral health settings. Assist with intake procedures, manage utilization review processes, and facilitate case management activities for diverse patient populations. Contribute to infection control protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards in high-acuity environments such as Level I and Level II trauma centers. Qualifications Proven critical care experience in fast-paced hospital or emergency settings. Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU units, or emergency rooms. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and acute care procedures. Background in hospital medicine, pediatrics (including PICU), geriatrics, or behavioral health is highly desirable. Familiarity with discharge planning, case management, diagnostic evaluation, and managed care processes. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate patient care and assessment. Ability to work effectively across inpatient and outpatient environments while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Relevant certifications in emergency medicine or trauma response are a plus.
