LPEMS provides the highest level of medical services, public education, training, and mentorship with compassion and excellence. Job Summary Join our dynamic emergency medical services team as a 9-1-1 Paramedic, where your expertise will be vital in delivering rapid, high-quality pre-hospital care to those in urgent need. In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency calls, assess patient conditions with precision, and provide critical interventions that save lives. Your dedication and skill will ensure that patients receive compassionate, professional care from the moment you arrive until they are safely transported to the appropriate medical facility. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Paramedic at Lower Providence Emergency Medical Service (LPEMS). The Paramedic will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients. They will assess patients, administer appropriate medical treatments, and operate medical equipment. The Paramedic will also work closely with other healthcare professionals and emergency services personnel to ensure the highest level of patient care. Candidates for the offered position will be expected to follow the position as outlined in the Full-Time Paramedic Job Description Document viewable at the Medic322 website. Schedule Schedule is on a 4-week rotation, 36- hour minimum with scheduled OT available each payroll at mutually agreed upon time. 24 hour shifts are available. Valid PA Driver's License Minimum of 21 years of age Emergency Vehicle Operator Course with EMSVO Endorsement (EVOC) Candidate must have clear criminal background check Candidate must provide a clear child abuse clearance certificate Candidate must have a clean driving record with no violations for the past 5 years.
