Key responsibilities include:

Qualifications Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience in EMS (Advanced Life Support level) is preferred Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different base sites as needed Must be eligible for Medical Command authorization from the Medical Director Completion of UPMC's orientation program, including classroom training Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and specialized equipment ️ Licenses & Certifications (Required): Certified Paramedic in Pennsylvania Valid Driver's License Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) or Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD) EMSVO Certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification Clearances (Required with Renewal): Act 31
