Responsibilities:
Perform specialized medical functions and deliver emergency treatments to patients during rotor-wing, fixed-wing, or ground transport.
Document assessment and treatment information accurately for stabilization and billing.
Facilitate effective communication between management, customers, and various stakeholders.
Participate actively in public relations and marketing efforts to promote the services.
Stay updated with the latest protocols by attending mandatory meetings, skill labs, and continued education sessions.
Ensure all certifications and competencies are up to date, reporting clinically under Medical Directors licensure.
Requirements:
Active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
Minimum 3 years (5 preferred) of experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and
PHTLS/ITLS
; NRP preferred.
FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
Preferred experience in flight or transport roles.
Completion of our client's educational/orientation program.
Effective human relations skills and basic computer proficiency.
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Ability to pass a pre-placement exam, including lifting up to 100 pounds and maintaining body weight below 235 lbs.
