Cooke County EMS is currently accepting applications for Part-Time Paramedics and EMTs to join our team! Cooke County EMS is the sole provider of 911 emergency medical services throughout Cooke County, responding to approximately 6,000 calls for service each year. Our department serves a population of approximately 40,000 residents across 874 square miles and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care to our community. Cooke County EMS operates five stations throughout the county, with one staffed MICU at each station. In addition, Station 1 houses a rescue truck staffed by the Shift Captain, providing additional resources and support for emergency responses. We are a shift-based department operating on a 48-hours-on/96-hours-off schedule, providing our team members with a consistent schedule and opportunities for work-life balance.
