Job Description

UrgentCare2Go and IVTherapy2Go are looking for a Full-time Paramedic with excellent IV skills! UrgentCare2go & IVTherapy2go is a new and unique way of providing health care services and IV therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for a reliable Paramedic to provide urgent care and IV therapy. You will work under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.
Responsibilities:
Record a patient's medical history accurately. Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc. Perform point of care testing like flu, strep, covid, UA, Urine Pregnancy. Observe patients under treatment during IV fusion to identify progress, side effects of medications, etc. Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks. Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
Skills:
Proven experience as a Paramedic or similar role Actively performing IV sticks. Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and medical best practices Excellent knowledge of medical terminology Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Successful completion of the Paramedic License is a must.
Schedule:
12-hour shift Day shift On call Weekends as needed
