Job Description

Keller Family Medical Center is seeking a dependable, patient-focused patient representative to support daily operations for our busy PCP office. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with professionalism Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments across mulitple providers and locations Manage incoming calls and patient inquires related to appointments, procedures, and provider availablity Coordinate referrals and authorizations as needed Manage patient intake, registration and insurance information collection Ensure that patients are checked in/out daily Handle check-in/out and daily front desk operations as needed Maintain accurate documentation and EHR/EMR records Provide administrative support to providers and clinical staff Assist with administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a medical office setting required Previous experience with Athena is a plus Medicare scheduling knowledge Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask and prioritize task Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred but not required Background and drug testing
