Specialist, you will support the clinical team by assisting with patient assessments, operating medical equipment, and ensuring optimal respiratory support for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs, respiratory status, and overall condition evaluations. Operate and troubleshoot respiratory devices such as ventilators and CPAP machines under supervision. Support airway management procedures, including basic airway stabilization and oxygen therapy. Monitor patients closely during acute care situations, responding promptly to changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care across hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, PICU, and neonatal units. Participate in ongoing training to develop expertise in critical care procedures, neonatal resuscitation, and trauma response. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare-related certifications are a plus but not required as training will be provided. Strong interest in emergency medicine, critical care, or respiratory therapy fields. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs assessment. Demonstrated ability to learn technical equipment operation such as ventilators and respiratory devices. Willingness to undergo comprehensive training on airway management techniques and emergency response protocols.
