Job Description

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is seeking students for a team lead. Maintain documentation for all ERT members Certifications/Licensure for EMT/Paramedic BLS cards on all team members ERT Application HIPAA forms Review applications for new volunteer team members/hire
Coordinate Event Coverage:
UCCU Events Other on-campus events Invoicing for
Event Coverage:
Ensure accurate invoicing is occurring for campus events/UCCU events. If there are payment issues, involve the Director of Emergency Management/Safety.
Maintain Equipment:
Jump bags for ERT Campus Response Jump bags for Event Coverage Restocking bags Ranger vehicle maintenance (gas, oil changes, other issues)
Training:
Provide weekly training for ERT Coordinate with the training officer for monthly training SOP review and update Must be a current UVU student Hours, for the most part, will be during the day, Monday-Friday. There may be times for training or filling in during events when nighttime hours are necessary. Of the 20 hours per week, 5 hours should be to cover 1 shift per week.
Preferred Qualifications Education/Certifications:
EMT Basic or higher (EMT advanced, Paramedic, etc.), must show licensure for EMT/Paramedic. BLS Certified, Instructor Preferred Knowledge of and skill in applying basic on-site emergency medical protocol and procedures. Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. Ability to perform standardized emergency patient care activities within the established protocol. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies. Ability to interact well with people. Ability to lift 30-50 pounds. Have computer skills and be able to use relevant software such as Microsoft Word and others.
