1stresponseoccupational.com 1st Response Occupational Health and Safety is looking to hire Paramedic or EMT as an Onsite Medical Tech (OMT) in a Solar Construction site setting. 90 day contract with option to extend or Full-time offer. Per-diem/Housing provided. OMT duties may include but are not limited to: Participate in daily operations at on-site 1st Response clinic Provide superior customer service to clients and crew Assess and treat both work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses according to 1st Response Protocols Build and maintain internal team relationships, including frequent crew visits to ensure safe work practices and crew health Participate in and/or conducting "man
  • down" drills (ERP) Maintain comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment Documentation of care using EMR and other tools Case Management OSHA record-keeping Measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, etc.
Administer drug and alcohol screening for pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable suspicion, and random testing Emergency skills, such as managing respiratory, trauma, cardiac emergencies, and patient assessments Record keeping, filing, data entry as required by the project Requirements Have valid EMT or Paramedic License Have current CPR/BLS Be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs regularly Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be able to pass a detailed criminal background check Be able to pass a detailed motor vehicle record background check Be able to pass a drug screen Experience working on a construction site
  • preferred Good computer skills and familiarity with EMR software
  • preferred Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
