Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our team, working 24-hour shifts from our Glade Spring office.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in patient care and emergency medicine, with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. In this role, you will deliver high-quality pre-hospital care, assess patient conditions, and ensure safe and timely transport to medical facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses. Deliver both basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) as required. Manage airways and perform necessary emergency interventions. Provide critical care transport for patients requiring advanced medical care. Administer medications in accordance with established medical protocols. Conduct physical examinations and monitor vital signs throughout treatment. Document patient conditions, treatments, and interventions accurately and thoroughly. Operate emergency vehicles safely while responding to calls.
