Job Description
Stanley Pharmacy Compounding Center is looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate, and highly organized Specialty Case Manager to join our team. This position plays an important role in helping patients navigate specialty medications and ensuring they receive the support they need throughout their treatment. Key Responsibilities Process and manage prior authorizations for specialty medications Fill and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently Assist patients with applications for patient assistance programs and copay cards Provide ongoing patient adherence management and follow-up Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers Maintain excellent phone etiquette and provide exceptional customer service Obtain, organize, and review patient chart notes and clinical documentation Communicate with provider offices to obtain necessary medical records and documentation Monitor cases from initial referral through medication access and ongoing therapy Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and case progress Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times Ideal Candidate Excellent phone and communication skills Compassionate and patient-focused Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable communicating with both patients and healthcare providers Able to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Strong computer and documentation skills Previous experience with prior authorizations, specialty medications, patient assistance programs, or pharmacy is preferred Pharmacy, medical office, insurance, or healthcare experience is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of each patient case, communicate confidently with providers and patients, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
