We are seeking a field-based Cardio Renal Education (CRE) Representative to deliver approved disease state education to healthcare professionals and office staff with patient care responsibilities focused on chronic kidney disease (CKD) awareness, early identification, testing, diagnosis and the importance of management of CKD and associated cardiovascular (CV) risk. This role serves as an expert educational resource for primary care practices, supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other office staff with patient care responsibilities with disease state-related education and resources. The CRE Representative will help increase awareness of CKD and CV risk, screening guidelines, testing opportunities, and approaches that support consistent identification of high-risk patients and care gaps. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and professional communicator who can build trusted relationships across the office, to gain an understanding of the educational needs and present disease state information clearly. This role is non-promotional in nature and will use only approved materials in accordance with Boehringer Ingelheim and Inizio Engage policies, procedures, training, and compliance requirements. Deliver approved CKD disease state education to healthcare professionals and office staff with patient responsibilities in primary care and relevant specialty settings. Facilitate live and virtual educational programs that increase awareness of CKD risk, screening guidelines, and appropriate testing practices. Conduct all activities in compliance with applicable policies, training requirements, and approved educational materials. Skill and build collaborative relationships with relevant teams. What We're Looking For Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, population health, patient education, or a related field. Experience in cardiovascular, renal, or metabolic disease is preferred. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate diverse healthcare audiences. Continuous learner with a commitment to professional development and staying current on healthcare trends. Passion for improving patient outcomes through education, awareness, and healthcare practice support. Ability to build trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and office staff. Proficiency with digital tools, virtual engagement platforms, and evolving technology solutions. Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the ability to work independently. What do you need for this position? Bachelor's degree Comfort with Technology/Virtual Engagements Ability to travel up to 20% of time as required (some territories could be significantly more than 20% depending on geography) Overnight Travel Required Valid driver's license and clean driving record The base pay range for this position is $70K - $90K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
