Eastern Acupuncture & Wellness Eastern Acupuncture & Wellness is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and proactive Patient Advocate / Front Desk coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a strong medical office background and insurance verification experience who is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting daily front desk operations. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming and outgoing patient communications (calls, emails, text messages) Perform accurate insurance verification and maintain patient records Utilize EHR systems for scheduling, documentation, and patient management Scan and organize documents in a timely and structured manner Conduct patient recall outreach to maintain continuity of care Deliver outstanding customer service and patient support Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Assist with scheduling coordination between providers and patients Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills Support smooth day-to-day office flow and patient experience Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting (required) Strong understanding of insurance verification processes (required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with EHR systems and general office technology Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Friendly, dependable, and patient-centered attitude What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who thrives in a patient-focused environment and genuinely enjoys helping others. Schedule Start:
Full-Time Available Must have flexibility between both locations (Plantation & Wilton Manors) Must be able to work Saturday shifts as needed (Plantation 8am-3pm) (Wilton Manors 9am-3pm) We look forward to meeting candidates who are passionate about healthcare and providing exceptional patient care.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
