Job Description

A full-time Options Counselor position is available with Liberty Healthcare and the Kansas Aging and Disability Recourse Center. The Kansas Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is a statewide system which supports older individuals and people who are living with disabilities. The ADRC is the "go to" resource for individuals who are seeking information about long term care and other community-based services and supports. Person-centered planning is provided to individuals to support their informed decision making and ability to secure services which will enable them to live as independently as possible. Job responsibilities Your day-to-day work as an Options Counselor will involve: Fielding phone calls and email requests Talking with individuals and their families about their needs Providing information and answering questions Connecting people with appropriate services Documenting interactions, services, and relevant information in computer systems Occasionally traveling throughout the region to participate in community events and meet with individuals in-person Work setting You will primarily work remotely from your home office and occasionally travel throughout Northwest Kansas (travel estimated at less than 10%). Schedule You will primarily work Monday through Friday during daytime hours with the occasional need to attend after-hours meetings and events.
Pay and benefits Annual compensation:
