Doula sought for Cherry Hill Women's Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 50 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for people seeking legal, safe, compassionate and respectful abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.

Responsibilities include:

Provide doula support to 5-15 patients daily pre-procedure Adhere to all relevant protocols, policies and procedures Maintain and oversee relevant trainings on patient support measures for clinic staff and other doulas Working with the clinic Administrator and management team, collaborate to develop doula program, including: Recruitment and training of per diem and volunteer doulas Maintaining doula schedule Supervise other patient support volunteer staff as appropriate Our team welcomes empathetic, committed, experienced doulas with a strong work ethic, sense of humor and a desire to be a part of a team. The right candidates want to make a difference in the community, work with a diverse patient population, can multi-task and appreciate being challenged by a fast-paced work environment. The ideal Lead Doula candidate must possess: 2+ years as a birth and/or full spectrum doula 1+ year in supervision and management in healthcare or other fast-paced field Strong communication skills Excellent patient care skills Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted Holds high standards and a commitment to CHWC's mission and core values, including a commitment to the full range of abortion care services Experience in supporting patients with abortion, fetal anomaly, and/or pregnancy loss highly desirable Spanish, French, Creole, Hindi, or other additional languages are a plus CHWC is committed to continuous improvement and we believe that all people must have access to high quality, compassionate and respectful reproductive healthcare. CHWC is an active member of the Abortion Care Network and accredited by the National Abortion Federation and licensed by the NJ Department of Health.
