Job Description
Westfield Family Physicians, PC is a primary care group serving a patient population of about 12,000 patients in two locations: Westfield, NY and Sherman, NY. Read more about our practice at http://westfieldfamilyphysicians.com/ We are seeking a full-time medical receptionist to join our team, rotating between both our locations. A successful candidate must be able to handle a high-paced clinic, multi-task and must be able to greet and serve patients and their families with a friendly smile, compassion, and skill. MEDENT practice management software experience is preferred. All staff members at Westfield Family Physicians work under defined roles as they provide patient care. They are a member of a team, and attend regularly scheduled meeting, taking part in a structured communication process. The structured team communication includes reporting to one another and the department team leader. Reception staff are responsible for managing patient intake and exit. All patient health Information must be handled in a confidential and proficient manner in accordance with state and federal privacy laws. The reception department Is also responsible to greet any person arriving at the office and direct them to the appropriate staff member or department.
