Job Description

Healthcare Hospital Liaison & Business Development Job Summary:
North Canton Nursing & Rehab is seeking an energetic, results-driven Hospital Liaison / Business Development Professional to drive census growth and strengthen healthcare partnerships across North Canton, OH. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the primary bridge between local hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and our care team—ensuring seamless patient transitions and high-quality post-acute care.
Key Responsibilities:
Physician & Hospital Relations:
Build and sustain strong referral networks with local hospitals, health systems, case managers, social workers, and physicians.
Pre-Admission Evaluations:
Conduct thorough clinical pre-screenings and patient evaluations at local health facilities to determine appropriate placement and care needs.
Census & Growth Strategy:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve occupancy targets and grow market share.
Patient & Family Advocacy:
Guide prospective patients and their families through the transition process, answering questions, hosting facility tours, and providing peace of mind.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with clinical, admissions, and interdisciplinary facility teams to ensure smooth intake and continuity of care.
Market Tracking:
Monitor local healthcare trends, competitive intelligence, and community needs to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of clinical or healthcare marketing experience (Hospital Liaison, Healthcare Sales, or Admissions Liaison preferred).
Network & Skills:
Demonstrated success in building relationships with hospital case managers and discharge planners.
Communication:
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-Motivated:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Licensure (Preferred): LPN, RN, or Social Work background is a plus, but proven healthcare sales experience is highly valued.
