QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical/physician office setting. Possess interpersonal skills in reading, writing, and speaking which would include good communication skills. Must be able to multi task and work with minimal supervision. Must have proficient computer skills. Knowledge of comprehensive health programs, standards, practices, and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Answer phones, check patients in and out, and schedule appointments. Review patient registration data to update and correct patient information ensuring all information is correct. Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate referrals to and from facility. Ensure Clinic and outside facilities receive test results, reports, notes, and documentation of care. Monitor and evaluate services, regularly contacting patients to track progress and identify new needs. Secure pre-authorizations of outside care, as required by 3 rd party insurers. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, providers, and other staff for continuity of care. Coordinate services across multiple agencies, building strong working relationships. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for in-person and telephone interactions. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. Observe strict confidentiality in all matters, responsibilities and duties performed under this position and adhere to the HIPAA (Privacy Act) in regards to patients' medical information. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. All new hires will be required by the Kaw Nation to submit to a pr
