Key Responsibilities Steward patient cases from initial contact through final coverage approval or denial. Conduct outbound calls to patients to communicate coverage status, co-pays, and specialty pharmacy dispensing details. Contact insurance companies to obtain and accurately document benefit information. Resolve complex payer and pharmacy issues independently. Accurately type notes and enter detailed data into proprietary software during live customer calls. Research alternative funding and foundation options to determine patient eligibility for financial assistance. Identify, document, and compliantly submit Adverse Events.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

High School diploma required; additional education preferred.

Experience:

Previous healthcare, pharmaceutical, pharmacy benefits management (PBM), Medicare/Medicaid, or prior authorization/appeals experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM. proficiency with Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom).

Soft Skills:

Exceptional professional communication, high empathy, multitasking abilities, and strict adherence to attendance policies.
