Provide care for patients in accordance with age-specific needs; provide care in accordance with any identifiable cultural diversity needs (such as religions, lifestyles, beliefs, physical capabilities, and cultures); provide care for patients by assuring effective pain interventions as allowed by their work certification; report and assist any patient that presents with evidence of abuse and/or neglect; and supports the mission of Mercy. Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience:

Patient care experience preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care for CNA.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
