Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from various departments, including emergency rooms, diagnostic labs, wards, and operating rooms, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the process Assist patients with mobility needs, including transfers from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers, following proper safety protocols Maintain clear communication with clinical staff to coordinate patient movements efficiently and accurately Ensure all transport equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use at all times Follow established safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and infection control measures Document patient transport activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies Support hospital staff during critical care transports by providing reliable assistance under supervision Experience Prior experience in home and community care or hospital settings is highly desirable Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to handle emergency situations confidently Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care with a focus on safety and comfort Experience with critical care transport or working within a hospital environment is a strong plus Knowledge of infection control practices and equipment sanitation standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible difference in patient well-being while developing valuable skills in healthcare logistics.
