Performs select non-therapeutic functions. Ensures that all equipment and needs of units are met on the off shifts throughout the hospital. Collaborates with other care givers to assist in the timely and efficient delivery of patient care. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran Responsibilities 1. Ensures linen availability on night shift. Responsible for replenishing low levels of linen. 1.1 Monitors and replenishes PAR levels on units as required as evidenced by feedback from PCSAMs. 2. Retrieves supplies for units as needed on off shifts. 2.1 Makes rounds on all units and ED to assess what supplies are needed on off shift (i.e. venodyne boots, suction, etc-) 3. Performs other related duties as needed and/or directed by PCSAM on off shift. 3.1 Transports patients/supplies as required for patient care following established hospital procedures as observed by supervisor and as indicated by feedback from staff. Qualifications
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience cleaning in a healthcare environment preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS
