Job Description:

Makes daily rounds to assigned areas to deliver, check, change, and set up equipment. Stocks respiratory and medical gas supply equipment in all patient areas. Directs supply-chain management for all ordering, stocking, and inventory of respiratory therapy department supplies. Maintains all respiratory supply areas to optimal par levels and coordinates with nursing unit leaders to keep an organized stock/supply room. Provides non-direct patient care support services for the respiratory therapy department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively. [Required] Disassemble, clean, reassemble and test respiratory equipment. [Required] Working knowledge of and ability to use computer and perform data entry. [Required] Ensure Infection Control [Required]

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ experience in a hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
