As a Pediatric Medical Escort , you'll play a vital role in our mission—ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of children during their transportation to and from our center.

Pediatric Medical Escort (EMT, Paramedic, LPN)

Tampa, FL Hours:
Flexible Hours | Part Time | Day Shifts | Be the calm, caring presence every child needs on their journey
The Position:
Safely transport children enrolled in our daily PPEC program to and from their homes. Assist with loading, securing, and unloading medically complex children using specialized equipment. Maintain a warm, reassuring presence for children throughout the ride. Monitor and respond to emergency situations during transit, working alongside a licensed medical professional. Complete accurate transportation documentation and follow detailed schedules. Perform end-of-route vehicle checks to ensure all children and belongings are accounted for. Communicate clearly with families and center staff to coordinate transport and share any updates. Collaborate with the transport coordinator to address any delays or challenges during routes.
Qualifications:
Medical background preferred: EMT, Respiratory Therapist (RT), LPN, or Paramedic. Valid driver's license CPR certification Experience in caring for children, particularly those with medical needs (preferred). Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years preferred). Why Choose Us?
