Wheelchair Patient Transporter We have immediate full-time openings for experienced wheelchair van drivers. Monday thru Fridays. Transportation Solution Services (AXEL), an established and growing non-emergency transportation company is looking for caring individuals. Our wheelchair van drivers (Para-Lift Drivers) are a critical part of our company, so it is vital that the people on our team are a good fit with our commitments and share our core values.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to demonstrate previous experience Must be 25 years of age or older Must possess a valid Missouri Drivers license No moving violations within the previous three years Ability to communicate effectively verbally Must successfully pass criminal background check

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Arrive on time to all scheduled stops Communicate with Dispatch regularly throughout the day Assure each passenger is properly secured with lap and shoulder belts If applicable, each wheelchair is properly secured using 4-point tie-downs and is in a locked, stable position Monitor passenger activity periodically while taking care not to become distracted
