Columbia Orthopaedic Group is looking for dependable and friendly PRN Patient Transporters to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and wants flexible hours in a healthcare environment. No previous healthcare experience is required. We are happy to train the right people! What You'll Do Our Patient Transporters play an important role in keeping patients moving smoothly throughout their visit.

Responsibilities include:

Escorting and transporting patients between exam rooms and the X-ray department Assisting patients who need wheelchairs or additional support getting to and from different areas of the clinic Communicating with clinical and X-ray staff to help maintain efficient patient flow Providing a friendly, helpful experience for patients and their families Assisting with other patient flow needs as assigned What We're Looking For Friendly and comfortable interacting with patients Dependable and punctual Able to stay active and on your feet throughout the shift Comfortable pushing wheelchairs and assisting with patient mobility Able to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers Willing to jump in and help wherever needed Previous healthcare experience is helpful, but not required Schedule This is a PRN position , with hours scheduled based on department needs and employee availability. Our greatest coverage needs are during normal clinic hours:

Monday-Thursday:

approximately 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Friday:

approximately 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. We are looking to add multiple PRN team members, which allows us to provide some flexibility in scheduling.
