Performs cleaning of all areas and furniture within the surgical suite, perioperative and related areas. Assists the schedule coordinator with transportation of patients, pick-up and delivery. • Giving patients instructions prior to transportation.

• Walking, transporting patients, specimens to lab, mopping floors, errands for the department.
• Assembling, furniture, beds, traction.
• Lifting, equipment (50 lbs), patients (100 lbs), extremities (30 lbs), supplies and linens (25 lbs). Pushing and pulling equipment (500 lbs), patient charts and beds (600 lbs), wheel chairs, OR tables, mop floors.
• Crouching, crawling, kneeling, and stooping. Cleaning of OR Rooms.
• Reaching, transfer patient from cart to bed, high dusting, and removing supplies from shelves.
• Restraining patients.
• Ability to take call.
• Set up traction, clean operating rooms. Essential Mental Abilities

• Check charts for pre-op requirements and patient identification.
• Comprehend instructions, preps, and routine orders, with minimum amount of supervision or explanation.
