Job Description
Hospital Attendant
- OR•Full Time Night Shift (11:00 PM•7:30 AM) •Position Summary•At Stony Brook Medicine, our Hospital Attendants are valuable members of our team, who provide routine custodial services to all patient/resident care and public areas throughout the hospital.
- Duties of a Hospital Attendant in the OR may include the following but are not limited to:
- + Picks up and removes hazardous articles which may be on floors, furniture, and equipment and places them in designated receptacles.
- Qualifications
- Required
- :•Must be able to speak English and the ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
- Preferred
- :•Previous experience working in a hospital setting and/or in the hospital industry.

- Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements:
- + Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Medicine's Employee Health Services

- + Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre employment screenings. + Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).

Anticipated Pay Range:
- The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $35,296 / year.
UUP, CSEA & PEF
