Job Details Responsibilities:
  • Determine appropriateness of examinations and contact physicians to clarify or modify orders when necessary
  • Transfer patients on/off exam tables
  • Transport patients through the ER to the CT Scanner and/or radiology department
  • Answers telephones in a timely manner
  • Communicates with professionalism at all times
  • For outpatients, check prescriptions to ensure patient demographics are correct, physician signature present, and reason for exam listed
  • For inpatients, check requisitions for accuracy, including verify patient identification, physician's signature, and diagnosis.
  • Arrange transport
  • Assist in procedure rooms
  • Update technologists with appointment status (cancelations, changes, etc).
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Computer Skills Required
  • Enrolled in an accredited Radiology program; preferred
  • BLS required- America Heart Association Posted Salary Range USD $22.
92 - USD $22.92 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
