Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Job Summary Transfers and transports patients within the hospital and at time of discharge. Picks up and delivers patient supplies and equipment to departments inside the hospital. Cleans and sanitizes transportation equipment. Performs duties relating to Shift Coordinator in the absence of the Supervisor/Coordinator/Lead. Performs AIDET. Attend at least 75% of department meetings. Cross-train to perform transporter functions at all facilities in the health system. Performs courier functions as assigned. Communicates with department utilizing assigned smartphone devices. Deliver adequate oxygen to all requesting units during severe weather (Code Black).
Qualifications:
Education High school education or equivalent. Experience Prefer experience providing customer service in transportation (or transport), clerical duties, and/or dispatching associated functions. Requires general computer skills capable of utilizing health system's software programs. Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider) CPR acquired before or during new hire orientation.
