Job Description Summary The Patient Transporter/Lift Technician reports to the Patient Transport Coordinator. Under general supervision, the Patient Transporter/Lift Technician assists with the transportation of patients, laboratory specimens, medications, and other ancillary items to promote quality patient care., This role performs complex patient lifts/transfers, and provides patient and family education regarding transfer techniques to be utilized in the post-hospital setting as appropriate.
