A Brief Overview The Radiology Transport is consistently thorough to verify patient identification, verify all transport information on the patient's order, transport patients in a timely manner as requested, utilizes all safety equipment to secure the patient, and explain the transport process to the patient and/or family member to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient and/or family anxiety. The Radiology Transport Aide consistently demonstrates competency in affective communication and proper body mechanics. What you will do Performs medical transport for patients to and from the Radiology Department. Applies proper body mechanics while lifting, pulling, and pushing patients and equipment during patient transfer and transport. Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records. Provides excellent patient care. Cover all sites as necessary. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience Qualifications Previous experience with patient care in a hospital setting. Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills Demonstrates excellent customer service. Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
