12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm, alternate weekends
Location:
Harlingen Medical Center - Harlingen, TX Responsibilities Transport patients safely between pre-op, operating rooms, PACU, and inpatient units using stretchers, wheelchairs, or beds Deliver surgical instruments, equipment, and specimens to the appropriate locations while maintaining proper handling protocols Assist with room turnovers by removing used equipment, biohazard waste, and ensuring timely preparation for the next surgical case Communicate effectively with surgical staff and follow scheduling systems to ensure smooth and efficient workflow throughout the department Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients along with clerical, transport, and messenger tasks to support safe and effective patient care services Qualifications 1. Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment; required 2. Transportation experience preferred 3.
