About Us Straight-Line Medical Transport LLC is a fast-growing medical transportation company serving East Texas communities with dependable, compassionate, and professional transportation services. We specialize in wheelchair and non-emergency medical transportation for elderly, disabled, and mobility-limited patients. We are looking for team members who want to grow with a company that values professionalism, reliability, and patient care. Position Summary Straight-Line Medical Transport is seeking dependable and compassionate Patient Transporters to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, nursing facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, and private residences. Most transports are wheelchair transports, with occasional ambulatory patients requiring assistance walking or transferring safely. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, works well independently, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely transport wheelchair and ambulatory patients to scheduled destinations Assist patients entering and exiting the vehicle safely Properly secure wheelchairs using company safety equipment and procedures Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude toward patients and facility staff Complete transportation paperwork and trip documentation accurately Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or concerns Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Follow all company safety policies and HIPAA confidentiality requirements Respond professionally during high-stress or time-sensitive situations Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to safely lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with assistance/equipment as needed Ability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends or on-call shifts if needed CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Experience in healthcare, transportation, EMS, nursing home, or customer service preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive Pay Flexible Scheduling Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for Advancement Supportive Team Environment Growing Company with Long-Term Career Potential Meaningful Work Helping People in Your Community Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient-focused, professional, and motivated to grow with our company.
