Patient Transportation Driver (Non-Emergency Medical Transport) - Manitowoc, Wisconsin At North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Patient Transportation Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outings. About the Role As a Patient Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for: Safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outings Ensuring the comfort and safety of residents during transportation Maintaining accurate records of transportation trips and resident information Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination Adhering to driving and transportation policies and procedures Responsibilities Drive company vehicles to transport residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outings Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition Maintain accurate records of transportation trips, including resident information and any incidents that may occur Communicate with the care team and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and care Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families Adhere to driving and transportation policies and procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a healthcare or transportation setting preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Join Our Team At North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth and development.
