A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Job Description
This is beginning level recreation work in recreation activities at a playground, park or recreation center. Jurisdiction Starting Hourly Salary City of Mobile $16.39
NOTE:
The eligible list created by this job posting will be used to fill part-time positions in Recreation Leader I. Minimum Qualification Requirements Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and preferably some recreational or related work experience either as a trainee or volunteer; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
