Overview Join our YogaSix team as a Group Fitness Instructor and inspire members to achieve their health and wellness goals through engaging, energetic, and expertly led classes. We are looking to add other modalities beyond just yoga as our members grow in their practice and get stronger. Strength training and yoga compliment each other so well; therefore, we would love to add more HITT, Bootcamp and Strength training classes to our schedule. This role offers an exciting opportunity to motivate diverse groups, design innovative workout routines, and foster a positive community environment. As a vital part of our health club, you will deliver high-quality group fitness sessions that emphasize safety, proper technique, and motivational coaching. All positions are paid, reflecting our commitment to valuing your expertise and dedication. Duties Lead a variety of group fitness classes including cardio, strength, yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, CrossFit, and kickboxing with enthusiasm and professionalism Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants perform routines safely and effectively Design and adapt class programs to suit different fitness levels and individual needs Provide motivational coaching to encourage participant engagement and persistence Monitor group dynamics during classes, offering modifications or assistance as needed Maintain a safe environment by adhering to manual handling procedures and emergency protocols such as CPR/AED operation Communicate clearly with clients about class schedules, fitness goals, and health advice to enhance their experience Must carry personal liability insurance Requirements Proven experience in delivering group fitness classes across multiple disciplines such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, or dance Certification in group fitness instruction from recognized organizations (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA) Additional certifications in specialized areas such as Kickboxing, Pilates instruction, Yoga instruction or Sports coaching are highly desirable Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and exercise program design to ensure safe practice and effective results First aid certification (CPR/AED) required for emergency preparedness Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants Physical fitness training background with the ability to perform heavy lifting and demonstrate exercises effectively Experience working in health clubs or fitness industry environments is preferred Ability to teach exercise routines confidently while providing personalized coaching when necessary Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for fitness can inspire others!
