Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic fitness team as a Pilates Instructor and inspire clients to achieve their health and wellness goals through expertly guided Pilates routines. In this role, you will lead engaging group classes and personalized sessions that emphasize core strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate participants of all levels to improve their posture, balance, and overall fitness while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for movement and help individuals unlock their full potential through Pilates. Responsibilities Design and deliver safe, effective Pilates classes tailored to diverse skill levels and individual needs Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring correct form and body mechanics for optimal results Provide clear instructions and personalized coaching to motivate participants and enhance their exercise experience Monitor client progress, offering modifications and adjustments to accommodate injuries or limitations Maintain a clean, organized studio environment with all equipment properly set up and sanitized Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates, emphasizing biomechanics, physiology, and injury prevention Support the development of new programs or class formats that promote engagement and retention Experience Proven experience teaching Pilates in a group or one-on-one setting within a health club or fitness environment Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to Pilates instruction Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization; additional certifications such as yoga, dance, or sports coaching are advantageous Familiarity with other fitness disciplines such as yoga, cycling, CrossFit, or heavy lifting enhances versatility Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients and foster a supportive atmosphere Knowledge of first aid (CPR/AED certification required) to ensure client safety during all activities Prior experience in customer service within the fitness industry is preferred Join us to make a positive impact on our clients' lives by guiding them through transformative movement experiences. Pay:
